Chicken Curry Recipe (Filipino Curry Style)
Chicken Curry is a Filipino version of chicken curry. Where chicken is stew in coconut milk and curry powder. Then potatoes, carrots and green bell peppers is added. This dish is perfect with steamed rice because of the creamy sauce and the mild flavor of curry, making you want to eat more rice.

Chicken Curry (Filipino Curry Version) Recipe
Ingredients
1 kg chicken, cut into servings
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 big onion, chopped
2 medium size carrots, cut into any shape or wedges
2 medium size potato, cut into any shape or wedges
2 medium size green bell pepper, cut into squares
1 cup water
2 cup coconut milk
2-3 tbsp. curry powder
2 tbsp. fish sauce (patis)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking oil
Procedure
1. Pan-fry potatoes and carrots. Drain and set aside.
2. In the same pan sauté onions and garlic until fragrant. Add chicken, cook until it changes its color.
3. Add fish sauce (patis) stir for 2-3 minutes. Add water and coconut milk. Bring to a boil and lower the heat, cook until the chicken is fully cooked.
4. Add potatoes and carrots, cook until tender. Add curry powder, stir and simmer until the sauce starts to thicken. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Add the bell pepper and cook for 1 minutes. It’s ready to serve together with steamed rice.
