@compmaster134 years ago I' ll never get how people can get their devices so badly damaged like that.
have you considered using an opening tool to open devices instead one area it does fall short on is cracked screens, but a piece of tape across the screen gives the suction cup on that side enough to hold onto to open the screen.
to remove the touchid sensor, i just use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry up the flex from the screen side (the side the screen connector for the sensor is on) no heat used and they always come off within a few seconds, and i' ve had a 100% success rate doing it this way. From the front or side risks the flex ripping (even if using heat) but doing it from the screen side means that you' re prying up from right by where the adhesive is (so it has to come up)
i used to use heat + pry from the side, and i killed a couple of buttons by doing that

i can' t believe that people would send in a repair job and then not get it returned. Those devices ain' t cheap so wtfare they thinking?
i spent 14 hours building a machine and installing software on a friend' s pc only to have to do it again 3 weeks later because he got it badly infected from porn sites. Second time i installed a virtual machine, made a copy and all i had to do was copy the vhd to the appropriate folder and was done. He was instructed to onlyuse the vm for deviate behavior activities
