I tried the 30:1 winder I made but one of the gears was slipping so I used the 3:1 winder I made from a fishing reel and that worked fine. I did 200 turns so 600 on the motor, still well short of the suggested 1000. At first the Papillon just held it's launch height and was a little unstable but then it started climbing, probably in some warm air as it continued to climb when the motor had finished. Luckily it came down again before it got near the road.
