Hey everyone! I recently went on a trip to Sikkim with my friend Vivek (aka Swami). During our trip to Sikkim, we explored Gangtok and the eastern parts of Sikkim. This trip was such a different experience because we attended a marriage ceremony of a local friend Sunanda (Aka Ongmu). In this video, we travel from Delhi to Bagdogra to Gangtok in Sikkim. We also went to MG Marg in Gangtok and tried some delicious local Sikkimese food!. There are many types of tours available to explore Sikkim as per your duration of the tour and your interests. Detailed itinerary of East Sikkim tour is mentioned below. East Sikkim itinerary (4N/5D): Day 1 : i) Departure from Delhi to Bagdogra Airport. (1 more day if you are traveling from train to NJP Railway station) ii) Bagdogra airport to Gangtok (NJP railway station to Gangtok) iii) Checking at Gangtok hotel and spend evening at MG Marg market try some delicious local Sikkimese food. iv) Registration at tourist counter for permit to visit Nathula Pass. Note: Permit is required to visit Nathula pass for which 2 passport size photograph and 1 ID proof is required. Day 2 : i) Early morning departure from Gangtok to Nathula Pass. ii) Cover Tsongmo lake, Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir and stunning view of High altitude mountains. iii) Return from Nathula and spend evening in any club to explore night life of Gangtok. Day 3 : i) Local Sightseeing of Gangtok. ii) Cover Rumtek Monastery, Tashi View point, Ganesh Tok, hanuman Tok and Banjhakri Falls. iii) Rope way at Gangtok. Day 4: i) Tukla valley, Zuluk and Do Drul Chorten. Day 5: i) Early morning departure from Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport ( NJP railway station). ii) Back to your home.
