Talking to Essential Workers on the Front Lines [Stuck in Vermont 611] Most of us have been staying home for more than a month, as ordered by the governor. But essential workers are leaving their houses to keep our state running — whether they are delivering mail or newspapers, taking care of people in the hospital, fixing cars, or stocking shelves at the grocery store. Eva spoke to some of these people about what their lives are like during the pandemic and what messages they have for Vermonters. Check out John Rovnak’s street photography and blog here, read Astrid Hedbor Lague’s piece about working in a grocery store here and see James Buck’s photos of essential workers here. Look for Seven Days newspapers in neighborhood racks in Chittenden County and follow us on Facebook to find out when/where the papers will be delivered via bike.
