We absolutely love discovering secret places like this..........a shop serving up delicious pure vegetarian, Gujarati Street Food snacks. We know the food is authentic because the Kutchi owners of this shop (Vinod & his wife) are from Bhuj; which we all know is famous for it's Kutch Dabeli, there's no secret to the recipe & preparation because they make everything in full view of you; while you wait. On this visit, we obviously had Dabeli + a Vada Pav - we can honestly say they were both delicious (they also serve up Sev Pani Puri, Bhel Puri & Oven Baked Puffs). (We also bought some "moreish" Indian Peanuts which are not fried but are dry roasted). If you visit this "pure vegetarian" place you'd be forgiven if you imagined or thought that it is a Indian "hotel" or stall (or "Lari") somewhere on the busy, bustling streets such as Navsari or the beaches of Mumbai in India - astonishingly these guys are making everything here in "Proper London" - making them freshly to order and serving them piping hot within a matter of minutes.........delicious restaurant quality food; but at affordable street food prices!!! KFC, Mcdonalds, & Pizza Hut have to take a back seat...........long live RD Dabeli !!! You can find these guys at 239 Plashet Road, London E13 0QT (Just off Green Street). If you have any questions, you can contact them on: 07956 550004 A special thank you to Vinu Bhai & his team who welcomed us and very graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their kitchen to do the videoing. Here's a link to RD Dabeli's social media page: R.D.Dabeli (Video recorded on Wednesday 23rd December 2015)
