Restaurant Style Mushroom Tikka Masala recipe, very easy to make, goes well with Naan, Paratha, Jeera Rice or any flavoured Rice .
Ingredients:
Mushroom- 200 grams washed and cut into 1/2
salt- as per taste
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
Garam Masala -1 tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Rosted Gram Flour/Sesan - 1 tbsp
Bay leaves -2
Cardamom -1
Cinnamon stick -1
Clove -1
Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
Butter - 2 to 3 tbsp
Onion - 1 Slices
Tomato - 1 Sliced
Cashew nuts - 4 to 5
Directions:
There are 2 steps to Make Mushroom Tikka Masala.
Step 1- Prepare Mushroom :
Take a Bowl and add Curd, Salt, 1tsp Ginger Garlic paste, 1tsp Red Chilli powder, 1/2 tsp Garam Masala, 1tbsp roasted Besan/Gram Flour and mix it well.Add Mushroom to this tikka masala and mix it well.marinade it for 20 minutes.
Heat a griller pan or a normal pan.Add 2 tbsp oil and sauté the Mushroom till it is golden fry and keep it aside.
Step 2- Prepare the Gravy for the Mushroom:
Take a pan add 1tsp oil & 1cube butter.Add Shah Jeera, Bay Leaves,Cardamom, Cinnamon Stick & Clove.Add sliced Onion and sauté it till the onion is golden brown.Add 1 Green Chilli(optional if you want it spicy).Add sliced Tomato,1tsp Red Chilli powder,1/2 tsp Turmeric powder,1tsp Ginger & Garlic paste,1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli powder and mix it well.Add broken Cashew nuts, add 1 cup water ,salt as per taste and cook it for 5 to 7 minutes.Remove the Bay leaves,Cardamom,Cinnamon & Clove and make a smooth paste of the masala.
Step 3- Making Tikka Masala:
Now heat up a pan add 1 tsp oil & a cube of butter.Pour the Masala paste and fry it on medium flame till the oil ooze out.Add 1 cup of water and cook the gravy for 2 minutes.Now add the fried Mushroom and cook it for another 2 to 3 minutes.Add 1/2 tsp Kasoori Methi, 1/2 tsp Garam Masala and cook it for 2 minutes and its Ready to Serve.
