Beef and Broccoli and white rice all at once ! It is an easy method to make dinner or lunch for your family in no time and for a fraction of the cost of eating out. You start with a cheap cut of beef chuck and tenderize it in the pressure cooker. So it’s not tough and chewy like stir fried beef and broccoli can often be.
Ingredients:
1 pound of any piece of meat cut into thin slices against graines
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce or teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar, or to your taste
2 teaspoons sesame oil ( very important)
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
3/4-1 cup of water
Hot red pepper flakes to your taste
3-4 tablespoons of oil
A tablespoon each of garlic and shredded ginger
1 cup of rice
1 cup of water
Salt, to taste
A head of broccoli, chopped into small pieces and boiled in half
Make a slurry
Prepare a mixture of 1-2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 1-2 tablespoons of water
Make the dish as thick as you want
Steps:
Press the normal / more / saute frying button
Add oil, wait until it gets hot, add garlic and ginger, and cook for seconds
Add meat slices and cook until the meat turns brown
Add the soy sauce mixture and mix well
Add a base so that the stems are slightly raised
Add a safe dish with a cup of washed rice only
Add water and salt
Make sure the plastic ring is in place and the handle is in a sealed position and closed well
Pressure cook for 10 minutes
Wait 5 minutes, then release the remaining pressure
Open the valve to release the remaining pressure and when the safety button is lowered down, open the cover safely
Carefully raise the rice and the base, change the pressure function, and press the saute function
Add broccoli head and stir well
Add black pepper, sesame oil and hot red pepper to your taste
Add the starch and water mixture and cook for a minute until the stew thickens and the dish is ready. Serve with rice and garnish with green onions and sesame
